Local tip
Accessed only by sea or air, those without the use of a personal boat are encouraged to hop on a water taxi at Georgetown - a five minute ride is all it takes.

In 1998, Kenneth Bowe, known as 'KB,' opened the doors to what would become one of Exuma's hottest beach bars and restaurants. Designed with beach volleyball enthusiasts and recreational boaters in mind, Chat 'N' Chill®, is situated approximately one mile from the shores of Georgetown, on Stocking Island.

Its sands boast a volleyball court for gamers, who show up daily for healthy competition. Between matches, send in an order for one of the bar's grilled specialities. KB is proud to offer the services of his custom-made grill to guests, who can snack on dishes like his special garlic cabbage slaw and conch burgers.

Every Sunday, for early risers, Chat 'N' Chill® hosts a weekly service at the Chat 'N' Chill® Beach Church; stick around for a few more hours to get the best out of their Sunday pig roast. For $20, diners can get a plateful of roasted pig accompanied by three local side dishes.
