Asian Restaurants in Bahamas

You might not expect it, but the Bahamas has some solid Asian restaurants that locals keep coming back to. Don’t just settle for the hotel sushi. Head over to Nassau’s Arawak Cay area if you want a casual vibe with surprisingly fresh poke bowls and sushi rolls at Dive In Caribbean. And yes, there’s real Thai and Chinese to be found here too, not the watered-down stuff tourists sometimes get.

If you’re craving ramen or dim sum, check out Shima, a spot tucked away on Bay Street that's been bringing authentic Japanese flavors for years. It’s a favorite for late-night bites, especially during the island's cooler months when a hot bowl of broth hits different. Tip: Book ahead on weekends; this place fills up fast.

For something a little more upscale, Med Asian Fusion near Cable Beach mixes Caribbean ingredients with Asian spices, an interesting combo that's surprisingly tasty. Don’t forget to try their spicy tuna tartare – it’s fresh off the boat, literally. When you visit the Bahamas, don’t miss out on these lesser-known spots that actually serve more than just standard pad thai or spring rolls.
