Internet service is widely available in the capital at hotels and select business establishment; however, in some cases Wifi is offered for a fee. In the Family Islands, Wifi service is not readily available; Hotels are your best bet as well as marinas, so inquire before you book if having internet access is especially important to you. . If they do not have Wifi, some of them have computers in common areas with Internet access. For wired access, most business-class hotels offer dataports for laptop modems inside your room.
 
If your mobile device is unlocked, you can purchase a $15 SIM card from the local telecommunications company, BTC, and a $7 data card for a week of Internet access or a $30 data card for a month.
