With more than 40 years of experience in exploring the shipwrecks and reefs found in Nassau's surrounding waters, it's no wonder that Stuart and Michelle Cove have been able to pass the thrill of diving on to their guests. Since founding Stuart Cove's in 1978, the Coves have been offering their divers and snorkelers the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the most exquisite and fearsome aquatic life the Caribbean has to offer.
Located in Southwest New Providence, Stuart Coves is perfectly situated to access some of the best dive sites around; with two morning dives, two afternoon dives and an optional night dive, divers can get their taste of the underwater world up to five times a day. The company specializes in touring reefs, sunken ships, and underwater movie sets, like those seen in several James Bond films.
These days, it is probably best known for its Extreme Shark Adventure, an opportunity to swim alongside Caribbean reef sharks and get a front-row seat at dinner time, during a professional shark feeding.
For those who aren't quite ready for a dive, there are snorkeling tours readily available to visit a nearby reef and shipwreck. If you're lucky, there may be time to snorkel above a shark feeder and watch the frantic feast down below.
