Bahamas
The Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD) manage's the flagship Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA), located in Nassau, Bahamas. The last phase of the newly redeveloped airport came to completion in 2013.
Named after the first Bahamian Prime Minister, LPIA has grown into a cutting-edge, yet comfortable and welcoming world-class facility. The aiport services both domestic and international flights; free wireless internet is offered throughout all of the terminals.
As the largest airport in The Bahamas, LPIA serves as the main international gateway to the capital and the many Out Islands. Connective flights are available through domestic airlines to the hidden gems of the Bahamas in the Out Islands.
LPIA is one of a few airports that offer US pre-clearance, which reduces the hassle of travelling to the United States. There are a number of restuarants and duty-free shops to peruse while you wait for you flights, such as Islandz, a Bahamian souvenir shop that merges authentic Bahamian art with technological gadets, like iPhone covers.
