Afterward, refresh with a natural coconut drink and sample local conch fritters before heading to the Queen’s Staircase. This limestone staircase, carved by slaves in 1793-1794, offers direct access to Fort Fincastle.
Fort Fincastle stands atop Bennet's Hill to protect Nassau’s harbor and town. Nearby, explore a small straw market for native souvenirs. Continue to Tasty Teas to discover various iced tea blends made from native Bahamian bush teas and medicines.
