Stafford Creek Lodge
Bahamas
If there's one thing guests at the Stafford Creek Lodge want to do, it's go fishing, and if there's one thing that Prescott Smith knows how to do, it's go fishing. The son of Charlie 'Crazy Charlie' Smith, Prescott grew up learning his way around a line and bait.
His father began teaching Mr. Smith how to fish at the age of six, and he hasn't stopped since. Mr. Smith is known throughout Andros and The Bahamas as an exceptional fishing guide and impressive bonefisherman. These days, Prescott is teaching visitors the secrets of how to catch notoriously difficult saltwater fish like bonefish, tarpon, and permit
The Stafford Lodge will appeal to all in search of a beautiful island oasis. The grounds are exquisitely landscapped, and a sene of complete senerity is hypnotic. In an effort to keep you mind at ease while visting, all meals at the lodge (including a packed lunch for the boat, refreshments, and guided fishing trips) are included in the lodge's rates, but visitors are advised to bring their own fishing gear.
The lodge is a 25-minute taxi ride from Andros' two airports, the San Andros Airport and Andros Town Airport, where there are daily flights from Nassau.
